MediEvil is a modern reimagining of the 1998 action-adventure game MediEvil. Developed by Other Ocean Emeryville and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, it was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on October 25, 2019.
The game retains the original’s story, following Sir Daniel Fortesque, a skeletal knight resurrected to defeat the evil sorcerer Zarok and save the kingdom of Gallowmere. The remake features completely overhauled graphics, updated controls, and re-recorded audio, while maintaining the classic gameplay elements, humor, and gothic aesthetic that defined the original.
